The transfer window has only shut yet pundits are already talking about signings Manchester United should make next summer. Owen Hargreaves tipped Jude Bellingham to turn the team into title-challengers if he was to leave Borussia Dortmund for Old Trafford.
Bellingham, 19, scored his second goal of the season on Tuesday night in a 3-0 win over Copenhagen in the Champions League. It’s also remarkable that such a young player is on the verge of making his 100th appearance for the Bundesliga giants, establishing himself as one of the best young players in the world.

Being an England international, Bellingham is bound to be linked with a move to the Premier League, but United are not the only club linked with a move for the BVB starlet.
Reports suggest Liverpool are chasing Bellingham, as per Marca, but they won’t sign him without stiff competition.
Hargreaves believes Bellingham could transform Manchester United next summer.
“He could turn around a club like Manchester United,” Hargreaves told BT Sport on Tuesday night, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News. “Get them back to the top. He could carry that with his mentality. Perfect midfielder. Can play for any club. Everyone will want him – Chelsea, Liverpool, United.”
It’s clear that United are improving after four consecutive wins but fans should hold back on getting too excited. There will be bumps along the road – even for the new signings – but the aim is to be in a stronger position next summer and back in the Champions League.
United’s midfield has improved this season but we’re still a counter attacking team. I think that over time, Ten Hag will try to change that by adding more quality to his midfield. That’s why we could see more Bellingham links in the future.
Hargreaves believes Bellingham has what it takes to improve any side in world football.
