Manchester United have had several bids turned down by Ajax for Antony this summer.
The latest one was believed to be worth €80 million, so it doesn’t surprise me that we are seeing reports about Antony being potentially annoyed just a day later.
Reports from Fabrizio Romano this evening suggested United will not give up on Antony this summer because there is belief that he is keen on the transfer, as he looks to link up with his former manager Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Manchester United are not giving up on Antony. Ajax turned down new bid but Man Utd plan to try again – they feel Antony really wants the move. 🚨🔴🇧🇷 #MUFC
Been told it’s not sure that Antony starts on Sunday yet, still discussed internally.

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claims Antony was missing from Ajax training on Friday, but no reasons were given for his absence. It’s a funny one but I can’t say I am surprised if Ajax really rejected an offer worth €80m.
This could be nothing, but it could also be an attempt from Antony to force a move.
Otherwise, he will be spending another season at Ajax.
This is what happens when a club like Ajax, who pride themselves on developing players for the next big move, decides to keep a player against his will after rejecting a ridiculous offer.
