(Video) Two Man Utd targets involved in Wout Weghorst’s late winner vs Wales

Louis van Gaal continued his impressive start to life back in charge of the Netherlands, registering his fifth win in eight games since taking over last year.

The Dutchman is undefeated so far and their dramatic late winner against Wales on Wednesday evening involved two reported United targets.

Van Gaal made 11 changes to the side which comfortably dispatched Belgium last week and two reported United targets were involved in the deciding goal, as seen below.

Frenkie de Jong’s dazzling run through the Welsh midfield was the catalyst and Tyrell Malacia, the Feyenoord left-back who has been rumoured to be one of Erik ten Hag’s targets this summer, provided a perfect cross.

After the game, Van Gaal argued that De Jong’s impact on the game proved why he is worth €112m. United are believed to be interested in the former Ajax star but any deal is highly unlikely to reach that amount.
