Agent names two players he thinks are certain to leave United this summer

Football agent Roberto De Fanti seems pretty outspoken. He writes a column where he talks about players he doesn’t represent and that is bound to cause friction in the agency world.

De Fanti reckons Manchester United duo Andreas Pereira and Eric Bailly are certain to leave this summer.

It comes as no surprise as far as Bailly is concerned, but there has been question marks over Pereira’s future after his move to Flamengo fell through.

“As for which players are on their way out of United, Andreas Pereira and Eric Bailly for sure,” De Fanti wrote in his CaughtOffside column.

“When it comes to Bailly in particular though, he is on a salary of £7m-per-year gross, so it is going to be a massive challenge to find a club willing to meet his wage demands. It will be interesting to see where exactly the centre-back ends up next season.”

When writing about Marcus Rashford, the Italian agent mentioned talks between Tottenham Hotspur and the striker’s entourage. He seems very keen on writing about United, despite having no clients at the club.

I don’t think Bailly or Pereira are good enough for United and neither of them will be happy sitting on the bench next season.

Finding buyers for both players might be a task.

it seems that if you make enough predictions, you’ll get on or two right eventually.
