Tyson Fury calls on Manchester United players to retire after Brighton humiliation

Two-time heavyweight champion of the world and Manchester United fan Tyson Fury did not hold back in his assessment of the Red Devils’ performance against Brighton on Saturday.

The boxing icon has called on United’s players to retire in the wake of their humiliating 4-0 defeat.

It was another embarrassing defeat for the Reds against a side that has found home wins hard to come by for the majority of this season. However, the Seagulls never looked in doubt as United rarely threatened their goal.

In a short clip uploaded to his Instagram story, Fury went on a rant about United, saying (via Mirror): “I tell you what, never mind the Gyspy King retiring, what do you say United why don’t they f****** retire – get off!”

Warning: Video contains strong language

The result obviously angered most fans as it meant United cannot finish in the top four next season, therefore, confirming that United won’t be in the Champions League next season.

To make matters worse on United, we have now conceded more goals this term than in any other in Premier League history. Another truly embarrassing record.

  1. MU Fans are right. These guys do not deserve the Man U shirt. Simply abysmal! The next manager must show a strong ability to lead the players. As it is now, all the manager does is to put the blame on the players. In that sense, Keane is right, Ole was such a good manager but the selfish and unruly players put him under the bus!
