The footage you are about to see will show Manchester United loanee James Garner as a glimmer of light in what has been a terrible campaign for the Reds.
Manchester United have fallen way short of their expectations this season after dismissing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November. The club couldn’t find a permanent appointment midway through the season, so Ralf Rangnick came in as interim manager with the promise of moving upstairs into a consultancy role at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, James Garner, also known as Jimmy, has been pulling up trees in Nottingham Forest’s push for promotion to the Premier League. On top of that, they’re enjoying much success in the FA Cup – facing Liverpool in the quarter-finals.
Garner has starred in memorable wins over Arsenal and Leicester City and Forest will be looking to eliminate a third Premier League club on their quest for cup success.
According to @utdreportAcad, Garner has been directly involved in 6 goals in the last 8 games for Forest (2 goals and 4 assists).

His performances this season have seen him linked with moves to Leeds United and Southampton, though we can’t see United allowing him to leave on a permanent basis.
From what I’ve seen of Garner this season, which is quite a lot, I certainly want him to get at least a run in pre-season. The next manager should then decide to keen or loan him out to a Premier League club.
Garner is definitely above Championship level now.
