Despite not being at their best, Manchester United have taken the lead against Brentford in Wednesday evening’s Premier League encounter at the Brentford Community Stadium.
After naming a strong starting lineup, interim manager Ralf Rangnick would have been hopeful his side could claim all three points.
The Bees haven’t made it easy though – arguably the best team throughout the first half, the Premier League newcomers have grown in confidence the longer the game has gone on.
However, after coming out quickly after the break, the Red Devils’ pressure forced Brentford back towards their own goal, allowing attacker Anthony Elanga to open the game’s scoring with an excellent touch and finish.
