Confirmed Manchester United XI vs Brentford: Elanga and Ronaldo start [4-3-3]

Ralf Rangnick has named his Manchester United starting line-up to face Brentford in the Premier League.

The Reds will look to return to winning ways tonight after travelling to the capital, after winning just two of our last five league matches.

That sort of record helps explain why United have been unable to climb back into the top four, which has become our objective for the remainder of the season.

Manchester United XI to face Brentford via @ManUtd: De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Telles; McTominay, Fred, Fernandes; Greenwood, Ronaldo, Elanga.

David de Gea is in goal and Victor Lindelof keeps his place with Harry Maguire on the bench.

Scott McTominay returns from his suspension and Cristiano Ronaldo is back from injury.

The news we had earlier about Anthony Elanga was obviously true! It’s his second start on the bounce in the Premier League.

After Rangnick’s comments on Tuesday, it’s safe to predict that we’ll see this team line up in a 4-3-3 formation.

“We have now decided to play a 4-3-3 like we did against Aston Villa, with one holding six, two eights and three offensive players,” Rangnick said, as per The Mirror.

The fans deserve to see a good performance tonight and the team needs to learn how to control a match for 90 minutes, plus stoppage time.
