Half-time during Wednesday night’s Champions League group game against Atalanta saw Manchester United rock bottom of Group F.

First-half goals from Atalanta duo Mario Pasalic and Merih Demiral saw the Red Devils on the brink of European disaster.

However, in true United fashion, the Red Devils, led by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, put in a superb second-half showing and managed to come back to win 3-2.

Strikes from Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire set up a tense final 15-minutes.

The man of the moment was star striker and club legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who once again came up with the goods when his side needed him the most.

Out jumping the Italian’s back-line, the Portuguese megastar was able to nod home a late winner to send Old Trafford into chaos.

Upon the referee’s whistle, full-time saw Ronaldo drop to his knees and display unwavering passion for the club where he first made his name all those years ago.
