Man United confirmed line-up vs. Leicester City: Maguire wins fitness race as Ronaldo leads attack

Manchester United have travelled to the King Power Stadium to take on Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City in what will be the Red Devils’ first match back since the recent international break.

Coming into the game and having witnessed Liverpool dismantle Watford to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will know his side need to do all they can if they’re to keep pace.

The Norweigan has been faced with a defensive injury crisis though – club captain Harry Maguire picked up a knock late last month.

Elsewhere, Raphael Varane, who picked up an injury during the final of this season’s Nations League while representing eventual winners France, has been ruled out for several weeks.

Looking to juggle his squad the best he can, Solskjaer has named, what he considers to be his strong possible 11, which includes Maguire winning his race against time to be fit enough to start against his former club, as well as legend Cristiano Ronaldo returning to the starting line up.

United and Leicester City are scheduled to kick off at 3 pm (UK time).
