Man United attacker pictured in training kit for first time since injury

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to have been handed a selection boost after attacker Amad has been pictured in the club’s training kit for the first time since picking up a thigh injury earlier in the summer.

Amad, 19, joined United just over 12-months ago following a £19.2m move from Italian side Atalanta.

Since his arrival in Manchester, the young Ivorian, who impressed massively for the Red Devils’ youth side, has gone on to feature in eight senior matches, directly contributing to two goals, including a winning header against AC Milan during last season’s Europa League campaign.

However, in an attempt to continue his development, despite being hotly tipped to join Dutch side Feyenoord on loan during last summer’s transfer window, a last-minute injury prevented the teenager’s move – ensuring he remained with the Red Devils for the start of the new 2021-22 season.

Now, however, Amad has been spotted wearing the club’s training kit for the first time since his injury – suggesting he is well on the road to recovery and could be set to return to action soon.
