Paris Saint-Germain eyeing up move for David de Gea

Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing up a move for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea in the event of losing Keylor Navas, according to reports. The 30-year-old Spain international has been rumoured to be leaving Old Trafford for a while but has remained at the club.

De Gea has two years remaining on his contract and his future was put in doubt last year when Dean Henderson’s stellar performances for Sheffield United earned him a place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first-team squad.

According to Todo Fichajes, Paris Saint-Germain are now targetting De Gea if they lose Navas. The Costa Rica international has seen fierce competition arrive at Parc des Princes, with Euro 2020 star Gianluigi Donnarumma joining on a free transfer.

Manchester United are unlikely to sanction a De Gea sale in the January transfer window and Solskjaer is likely to have been pleased with his start to the season.

De Gea kept his first clean sheet of the season against Wolves before the international break and was named man of the match.
