Aaron Wan-Bissaka pleads guilty to driving offences

Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has pleaded guilty to driving without qualification, a Manchester magistrates court has been told.

According to The Guardian, the 23-year-old was present in court to confirm his name, address, before confirming his guilty plea in a hearing. Previously, the former Crystal Palace right-back had been caught speeding during the first COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, according to The Sun.

The report from the Guardian claims that Wan-Bissaka was stopped by police late in June this year, where police discovered that he was banned from driving. The latest offences will not be sentenced until the first case is heard. It’s believed that another hearing will be held on September 16, with both cases expected to be joined.
