Manchester United name 27-man squad for pre-season training camp in Surrey

Manchester United got their pre-season preparations off to a winning start last weekend with a 2-1 win over Derby County.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named a 27-man squad for this week’s training camp in Surrey ahead of our second pre-season friendly match against QPR.

The manager fielded 23 players in total against Wayne Rooney’s side at Pride Park Stadium and he will be calling upon a similar squad on Saturday.

Daniel James and Scott McTominay will link up with the squad this week following their participation in the Euros.

Wales reached the last 16 with James being a key player and the same could be said for McTominay in a Scotland shirt, although they failed to progress from the group stages.
