Romelu Lukaku silences critical Manchester United fan with reply on Twitter

Romelu Lukaku responded to a Manchester United fan who took some time out to mock the Belgian striker over his questionable form at Old Trafford.

The Belgium international has shone for Inter Milan but never quite got going in a United shirt, with a lot of harsh criticism sent his way over his fitness and lack of a first touch.

Of course, there will be United fans who think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should have kept the forward, but he wanted to leave and it was clear he didn’t suit our style of football. Now it would be fair to question if we were any better off keeping Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman is not a goalscorer like Lukaku, but he still one of the highest paid players at the club. It’s also possible that he will fall down the pecking order at Old Trafford next season unless he improves or is sold to the highest bidder.

One United fan took aim at Lukaku recent on Twitter and he responded, saying: “I wouldn’t play at this level if I couldn’t control a ball the f***”

Nothing wrong with defending yourself and using colourful language.
