Real Madrid have reportedly lowered their asking price for Raphael Varane this summer.
Diario AS suggest the La Liga giants have lowered their asking price to €50 million from €60 million in order to secure his sale and avoid losing him on a free next year.
Varane, 28, would be a good fit for Manchester United, who are in the transfer market looking for a new centre-back to partner Harry Maguire, and the Frenchman has a number of attributes that fit the bill.
Real Madrid will definitely be without Sergio Ramos at the back next season, with the Spanish veteran announcing that he will join a new club this summer as a free transfer.
Unfortunately for United, Ramos is not what we need. His best days are beyond him whereas Varane still has a lot to offer at the top.
It would be great business if United could get Varane for €50m…
