This is a blow for anyone wishing that Manchester United go on to sign Jules Kounde this summer, with the Sevilla centre-back impressing last season in La Liga.
A recent report from AS, relayed by the Manchester Evening News, Kounde is expected to stay where he is this summer.
Kounde, 22, was linked to Man City last year – but both clubs were unable to come to an agreement over the player’s transfer valuation.
That led to speculation to another Manchester club – also in need of a top class centre-back to partner Harry Maguire — as per The Express.
The recent report suggests Kounde has been priced out of a move since Sevilla are demanding upwards of £50m for their asset.

Kounde or Varane?
Varane didn’t have the best of seasons last year, but United need a player to come in ready-made at centre-back, but I don’t think Kounde is far off being the ideal package either.
