Away from all of the transfer speculation, Bruno Fernandes has poked fun at Marcus Rashford over the 23-year-olds table tennis technique. The sport is said to be a popular activity among players during free time at hotels, something the England camp seems to have adopted.

Rashford, who featured in England’s 1-0 win over Croatia, posted a picture of their own little Manchester derby on Instagram. The winger, as seen below, is locked in a one-on-one match against Raheem Sterling but Rashford’s technique caught the eye of Bruno Fernandes, who made sure to let his teammate know.

“When someone holds the bat like that, (it) says everything about his qualities as a ping pong player,” Bruno said whilst tagging former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand in the post.

Rashford wasn’t happy to be criticized by United’s midfield supremo and swiftly retaliated. “Bro you have a big game this weekend, get off my page with your bullying,” he said in a jokingly manner.

Their two national sides could face each other in this summer’s European Championships with both England and Portugal tipped to go far in the competition.
