Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has been offered a positive injury update ahead of the new 2021-22 season.
Henderson, 24, was unfortunately ruled out of this summer’s delayed Euros 2020 after suffering a hip injury during training.
Having been replaced in Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad by West Brom shot-stopper Sam Johnstone, Henderson will now return to his club side.
Although scheduled to be back with United, fans have been left to wonder how severe their keeper’s injury is and whether or not it’ll impact his chances of featuring in his side’s pre-season tour.
According to a recent report from MEN, the English keeper is expected to be fit and available for the Red Devils’ pre-season schedule, which is likely to include a tie against Championship side QPR.
In addition to a match against QPR, MEN claim the club are considering the possibility of travelling to Malta in late July, early August.
Henderson’s injury is not expected to hinder his chances of featuring for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer later on this summer.
