Avram Glazer confronted by another reporter, again refusing to apologise for ESL disaster

Not the response Manchester United fans wanted – but one we all can all say we expected since the Glazers muted their mics from the very second they got their dirty hands on the club.

Club co-owner Avram Glazer has been confronted by reporters in Florida for a second time in as many weeks, yet again refusing to apologise for his part in the failed European Super League.

Sunday’s protests showed how serious people take their football – and 16-years on from the controversial takeover, the Glazers are still completely out of touch.

Thousands of reds took part in the protest – between Old Trafford and the Lowry Hotel – against the Glazer family, also in attempt to postpone the Premier League meeting between Manchester United v Liverpool.

Sky News had a reporter approach Avram Glazer, who was ignored before he got into his car and drove off. The reporter asked: “This is an opportunity for you – an apology perhaps?” She continued: “Are fans just customers to you?”

The Mirror recently sent a reporter to approach Avram outside a drug store near Palm Beach — similarly reporting he refused to apologise.

Hopefully this level of pressure continues. Joel Glazer has yet to show he’s a man of his word after using an open letter to say he’d open dialogue with fans.

We’ll believe it when we see it. Replying to MUST’s open letter would be a start…
