Manchester United have produced a truly remarkable second-half performance in Thursday night’s Europa League semi-final against Roma.
Despite trailing 2-1 at half-time, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer held firm and sent an unchanged side back out after the break.
In a bid to repay their gaffer, the Red Devils have more than produced the goods.
Second-half goals from Edinson Cavani, Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba and now Mason Greenwood have ensured United have one foot firmly inside the competition’s final next month.
United’s sixth goal came via a beautifully crafted whipped ball from Cavani to strike partner Greenwood who gratefully finished off.
