Manchester United fans have made their thoughts known as the club announces its plans to join a breakaway league, which looks set to replace the Champions League.
In a generic statement published on their website late Sunday night, Manchester United confirmed they are one of 12 Founding Clubs to start a new tournament which would see the best teams across Europe compete on a weekly basis.
United fans have made their presence known outside Old Trafford, where two can be pictured holding an anti-European Super League banner in front of the trinity statue.
The banner reads: “Created by the poor, stolen by the rich.”
