(Photo) Solskjaer smiles for the camera after getting half the job done in Spain

Great win, Ole!

I’m sure I am not alone when it comes to smiling at my keyboard. A good win away from home in Europe and we shouldn’t have a problem reaching the semi-finals from this position.

United have suspensions forcing key players like Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay out of the second leg, but I didn’t see enough from Granada tonight to raise any concern, even if it means playing a few fringe players.

Eric Bailly is out after testing positive for COVID-19 and I highly doubt he will be available next week, so we could see Axel Tuanzebe start after he travelled with the squad to Spain.

Anyhow, Solskjaer had a big smile on his face after the match. United writer Andy Mitten managed to get a brilliant picture before the boss walked down the tunnel.

  1. With the Granada team costing 8 million the tabloids would have had the knives out if we hadnt have won this one, with POGBA and MASON going MIA it was left to crocked Marcus to spare our blushes, even VIctor had a good game and a smart pass to Marcus came from his boot, the second leg should be a formality barring any daft mistakes,Gdansk still in our sights so we fight on !
