Ravel Morrison’s Arsenal dream will surprise Manchester United fans

As hard as it is to believe, Ravel Morrison is an Arsenal fan.

Despite being a Manchester lad who emerged as one of the brightest talents at the Manchester United academy, Morrison publicly announced he is an Arsenal supporter in 2019 after signing for Swedish side Ostersund.

“I’m just a young humble person from Manchester,” he said, as per The Guardian. “I’m hoping to do the best I can. I have been at West Ham, Manchester United, Lazio.

“Obviously the English sides for me are the best.

“I was also in Mexico last season and loved every moment.

“Now I’m with you guys. This team beat my beat as well, it wasn’t a great day when it happened being an Arsenal fan, because I wasn’t linked with you then, but now it is all about thinking positive and looking forward to this chapter.”

Sadly, it didn’t work out for Morrison at Ostersund.

But on Stretford Paddock – a Manchester United podcast – Morrison revealed his Premier League dream for Arsenal.

“I would like United to come second in the league and Arsenal to win the league,” he said. “I will always appreciate Manchester United, but obviously, Arsenal would win the league.”

I don’t think his comments will go down well with United fans, but it’s not like we need to worry about Arsenal. Our concerns need to be getting back on top and we are a lot closer than Mikel Arteta’s side.

United are in a good position to finish second this season behind rivals Man City.
