Manchester United vs Brighton team news predicted line-ups

Manchester United welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to Old Trafford tonight as the two teams resume their Premier League campaigns after the international break.

And after Man City’s 2-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday, the Red Devils are 14 points behind the leaders with a game in hand as they come into the business end of the season.

Brighton are 16th and just six points clear of the relegation zone. They have two wins in their last two outings, so Graham Potter’s team have some confidence in the bank ahead of kick-off. They will be hoping that the international break doesn’t ruin momentum and facing Manchester United does not make matters any easier.

How can I watch the match?

The match will kick off at 7.30pm and will be televised live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate.

Team News

Marcus Rashford has returned to training after missing the World Cup qualifiers with England. It would be silly to risk him unless he’s fully ready to play because we can’t afford to lose him for a long period.

Sadly, Anthony Martial will miss out after sustained a knee injury while with the France squad, and another doubt after the internationals is centre-back Victor Lindelof.

Brighton, on the other hand, look set to be without Adam Webster and Dan Burn, though striker Aaron Connolly could come back to face the Reds.

Percy Tan is self-isolating and Brighton are already without Tariq Lamptey, Solly March and Florin Andone.

Predicted line-ups

Manchester United: Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, Fernandes, Rashford, Cavani, James.

Brighton: Sanchez, White, Dunk, Veltman, Gross, Lallana, Bissouma, Moder, Trossard, Maupay, Welbeck.
