Tottenham star key to Manchester United’s transfer pursuit of Jules Kounde

Transfer speculation is brewing with the football season coming to an end.

Although transfer fees will be lower than previous transfer windows, incomings and outgoings are expected at Old Trafford, but it will be interesting to see how the pandemic puts a strain on our spending… again.

There will be lots of demand for Sevilla defender, Jules Kounde, who has been the talk of La Liga this season.

La Razon, cited by the Daily Express, suggest that Sevilla are likely to part ways with the 22-year-old centre-back for a fee in the region of £51m.

The question is does Kounde fit the bill to partner Harry Maguire?

The answer is I don’t think United have many better options. Kounde’s mobility in pace would also make for a suited partner to Victor Lindelof.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens in the summer, but the report claims that Tottenham Hotspur’s Davinson Sanchez is the key to any deal for Kounde.

It is noted in the report that Sevilla have already earmarked Sanchez as Kounde’s replacement.
