Crystal Palace will be breathing a huge sigh of relief after goalkeeper Vicente Guaita pulled off a wonder save to prevent Manchester United’s Nemanja Matic from opening the scoring in Wednesday night’s match.
The two sides are currently embroiled in a tense encounter in the country’s capital and despite starting the game nervously, it has been the Red Devils who have looked most threatening.
One of the best early chances fell to midfielder Matic who would have been hoping to recreate his 2018 winning goal against the same opponents.
Despite making a decent connection, Matic saw his deflected shot denied by a wonderful diving save from Guaita.
