Speaking ahead of his side’s domestic clash against Crystal Palace, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted Wednesday’s game is a big chance for back-up goalkeeper Dean Henderson to impress.
Solskjaer has named a strong starting 11 which sees regular number-one David De Gea make way for Henderson.
After struggling to force his way into the Norweigan’s first-team plans since signing a bumper new contract last year, Henderson has been handed a rare opportunity to impress in the Premier League.
Whilst speaking about his selection decision, Solskjaer revealed that De Gea has been left out due to ‘personal reasons’, giving Henderson the chance to impress in his absence.
