Leah Galton has an eye for goal and she has put pen to paper after reaching an agreement to renew terms at Manchester United.
The winger has scored 14 goals in 51 appearances for Manchester United and previously kitted out for Leeds United, Sky Blue FC and Bayern Munich.
She says it’s “a massive honour” to sign a new contract at Manchester United.
The deal includes the option to extend by a further year.
Galton, 26, said (via Sky Sports): “It’s a massive honour for me to sign a new long-term deal with the club.
“Since being here, I feel like I’ve developed in so many ways on and off the pitch and I’m especially grateful to Casey (Stoney) for her belief in me from the very start.”
After taking Manchester United Women to the top flight – WSL – Casey Stoney is seen as one of the best renowned coaches in women’s football.
She added: “Leah’s talent is undeniable; I have always said that I see her as one of the best wingers in this country, and her performances throughout this season just prove that.
“She will be a key player over the next few seasons.”
The news follows on from United announcing that Kirsty Hanson had signed a new deal with the club, again until 2024 with the option to extend by a further year.
