Video: De Gea pushed by Billy Sharp as Sheffield United score opener

Sheffield United have opened the scoring at Old Trafford.

Most fans will jump to the shambolic defending and goalkeeping shown as Sheffield United took the lead at Old Trafford tonight, but we can’t help but look at Billy Sharp’s push on the Manchester United goalkeeper in the lead up.

David de Gea should be coming off his line in these scenarios and making punches. Otherwise the ball can bounce anywhere and the goalkeeper is never in complete control.

I’m surprised VAR didn’t overrule the goal due to Sharp’s push but it goes under the radar.

How very unfair to expect a keeper to be able to react whilst being pushed from behind?

The keeper pushed Bryan just before he headed it or should we ignore that ?
