Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has been strongly linked with a transfer back to his homeland of Argentina, with Boca Juniors believed to be leading the race for his signature.
There won’t be any Manchester United fans losing sleep over the potential departure of Marcos Rojo.
It sounds like the Argentina international has played his last game for the club and will be joining Boca Juniors.
Boca Junior fans are in for a treat when they see Rojo’s new signing of Diego Maradona, who passed away at the end of 2020.
Respected journalist Fabrizio Romano gave an update on two departing United players — Rojo and Jesse Lingard — and it comes after the defender decided to get an Argentinian football legend inked on his leg.
Manchester United are now open to let Jesse Lingard and Marcos Rojo go in the next days. Rojo is waiting for Boca Juniors, West Ham are in talks with Man Utd to sign Lingard on loan as per @mcgrathmike. Again, #mufc are *not* working to sign Facundo Medina in January. 🔴 #manutd

We can’t say we’re too surprised. Diego Maradona is the ultimate hero of Argentina and Rojo loves getting tattoos as much as he loves burning bread.
A mixture of photos from Instagram and other social media networks were both together on the @StrettyNews account this morning.
