The second half has only started…
Manchester United hold a 2-1 lead at Old Trafford in their FA Cup fourth-round tie against Liverpool.
Goals from Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford gave United a second half lead after Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah opened the scoring in the first half.
It’s been a tight encounter but Rashford’s goal gives us a chance to take control of the tie.
Liverpool lost possession in a rather clumsy fashion in midfield which Edinson Cavani took advantage of by winning it back for United. Then Greenwood quickly repaid Rashford for his earlier assist with a stunning through ball to Rashford leaving it up to the 23-year-old to put the ball past Allison.
