Video: Patrice Evra perfectly sums up Man United shift from 2020 to 2021 with passionate celebrations

A 2-1 win over Aston Villa made way for a perfect start to the New Year, however, truthfully speaking football is far from perfect without fans at Old Trafford.

There is nothing we can do about that, though. The coronavirus pandemic has brought so much uncertainty to our lives and we’re back in lockdown again.

Manchester United winning football matches is one of a few things that helps make my week at the moment, and the 2-1 victory over Villa is no different. It brings us level with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.

Patrice Evra’s Instagram account is another tool that can be used to brighten your day. Our former left-back is always in high spirits.

In his latest post, Evra uses the New Year and United’s win over Villa as an excuse to celebrate.

Mad Pat uses a meme of himself in the Sky Sports studio to show how far the side has come under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the past year.
