You can see there’s belief growing in the squad.
It’s early days but Manchester United’s progress is clear to see.
Especially this season after such a slow start in the league, it looks like the Reds are finally turning things around.
Aston Villa played well on the night but didn’t have enough quality to really hurt United. The Reds won the match 2-1, thanks to goals from Anthony Martial and a match-winning penalty from Bruno Fernandes.
Jack Grealish was sensational at times as their main source of attacks.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka gave a televised interview after the match and was asked whether there’s a belief building in the squad after going level on points with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.
“Yeah, of course,” AWB said. “You can see between all of us. It’s just about showing it on the pitch and that’s what we’re doing.”
🗣 "It means a lot, it shows where we've come from the start of the season"
