Manchester United target and Norwich City defender Max Aarons would reportedly cost the Red Devils just £20m should they opt to make a move next summer.

Aarons, 20, joined Norwich’s youth academy in 2016 after departing Luton Town.

After climbing the Canaries’ ranks, the highly-rated full-back has gone on to feature in over 100 senior first-team matches for his side.

Despite now finding himself back in the Championship, Aarons was part of the Norwich side who were promoted at the end of the 2018-19 season.

During last season in England’s top-flight, Aarons enjoyed a very decent run of form which he was rewarded for by being named in 36 of Norwich’s 38 Premier League matches.

A recent report from leading journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his recruitment staff have been monitoring the 20-year-old for quite some time.

It is believed that the Red Devils are keen to bring the young English full-back to Old Trafford in an attempt to provide Aaron Wan-Bissaka with some competition.

The latest in the ongoing saga comes from The Sun who have claimed that any proposed deal for Norwich’s 20-year-old is most likely to happen next summer but a transfer could cost United just £20m.
