(Video) Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits feeling proud of Borussia Dortmund superstar

Ahead of his side’s Champions League match against Paris-Saint Germain on Wednesday, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted he feels a sense of pride witnessing Erling Haaland’s impressive development.

Haaland, 20, is more than familiar with Solskjaer having both spent time at Norwegian club Molde FK before the pair went their separate ways.

Solskjaer, of course, went on to take the hot-seat at Cardiff City before a fairytale reunion with his former side, United.

Elsewhere, Haaland has enjoyed a hugely impressive rise to the top of European footballing dominance after bagging a dream-move to Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in January.

The prolific striker already has 16 Champions League goals to his name as he continues to close in Solskjaer’s Champions League tally of 20 goals.

Speaking ahead of his side’s clash against Paris-Saint Germain Wednesday evening, Solskjaer was asked about the Dortmund striker’s incredible development and was reminded how close the 20-year-old is to beating his own goal-scoring tally.
