Exclusive: Marcus Rashford sends heartfelt message to campaign supporters

Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford needs no introduction.

The England star is doing incredible work both on and off the pitch, with his campaign to eradicate child food poverty forcing the UK Government to overturn another half-term decision.

We caught up with Rashford this week to not only thank him for everything he’s done to help the vulnerable children, but to ask him what he would say to everyone for all the support his campaign has received — from fellow thoughtful people to small businesses,

“Just thank you,” Rashford told Stretty News. “Every person who has donated, volunteered, shared posts, shared kind words, you have all played such an incredible role in this journey.

“No child in the UK should be going to bed hungry.

“Your support has really been invaluable and I want to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you.”

Rashford is a player we are immensely proud to have at Manchester United, and he is always seeking ways to make a difference in such a positive way.

The BBC has secured an exclusive documentary with the Manchester United star and his fight to end child food poverty. It will be televised on December 21st.

Being the perfect role model, Rashford is trying to give something back. His story is a genuine one and it helps you understand why he’s going that extra mile for change.

It should be seen as a priority in every country to end child food poverty.
