Man United and Arsenal trying to take advantage of Christian Eriksen’s Inter Milan situation

Manchester United and domestic rivals Arsenal are reportedly trying to ‘exploit’ Christian Eriksen’s increasingly tense situation with Inter Milan.

Eriksen, 28, joined Inter Milan from Tottenham Hotspur in January for a fee of £24.2m, as per Transfermarkt.

Despite joining Inter Milan less than 12-months ago, Eriksen could be set for a January move away after failing to impress manager Antonio Conte.

The Danish playmaker has only managed to be directly involved in 7 goals from 34 appearances in all competitions.

Conte’s lack of trust in Eriksen which has often meant the midfielder has been left on the bench has caused speculation to intensify suggesting the Dane could be set for a shock move away from the San Siro.

The latest in the ongoing saga comes from Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport who claim Premier League giants United and Arsenal are hopeful they can ‘exploit’ Eriksen’s relationship with Inter Milan.

CDS claim that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Mikel Arteta are both admirers of Eriksen and could be looking to bring him back to the Premier League as early as January.

  1. Eriksen was disrespectful to the approach of United. He thought he was just too good to be playing for Manchester United. Now that he is considered a flop at his new club, why should United come to his rescue? You only get ONE chance to sign for United.
