Edinson Cavani trained with his new teammates for the first time on Sunday as Manchester United prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc de Princes in the Champions League.
The Reds restored some confidence with their dominant 4-1 victory over Newcastle on Saturday and will use the heroic night in March 2019 to give them belief against the French champions.
Cavani’s fellow deadline day signings Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri were also seen in training at United’s Carrington training complex.
As per the Manchester Evening News, Cavani has not travelled to Paris with the rest of the United squad on Monday. The fixture may have come slightly too soon for the Uruguayan striker who has only just finished an isolation period.
But Axel Tuanzebe, who has not played a first-team game in 10 months after a lengthy injury layoff, did travel and was spotted in training with the rest of the squad on Sunday.
