Video: Lee Grant sends message to fans on World Mental Health Day

Manchester United goalkeeper Lee Grant has done a video on World Mental Health Day.

World Mental Health Day is celebrated on October 10 each year to increase involvement in the work done to help improve people’s mental health.

Now more so than any other time in recent history, we are beginning to understand the importance of mental health. The entire world has experienced negative changes in their day to day lives due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The past 7 months has seen the entire world come to a stand-still.

Manchester United shared a tweet on Saturday morning featuring a video with Grant speaking about the importance of looking after your mental health.

Grant admits he is someone who tends to bottle his feelings up, but he urges people to try speak to their loved ones when in need and not to be alone.

It could be a simple phone call or maybe a text message.

It’s okay to not be okay.
