Manchester United line-up vs Tottenham: Eric Bailly partners Harry Maguire in defence

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his starting eleven to face Tottenham this evening at Old Trafford.

There has been a lot of talk this week about Solskjaer’s selection at the back.

Many fans calling for a new centre-back are of the view that Victor Lindelof is not the best pairing for Harry Maguire.

Although Eric Bailly has suffered with injuries and failed to build on his form in 2016, his first season at the club, his attributes suggest that he is the type of defender that would be a suited partner for Maguire.

The biggest factor here is pace and Bailly has it in abundance.
