Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has slammed his old club’s performance earlier this evening against Crystal Palace after they suffered a humiliating 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford.
Evra, now retired has turned his attentions to punditry on Sky Sports and after witnessing a dire performance by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Reds has slammed the performance, claiming that he is ‘burning on the inside’ and his old side made their opponents look like world beaters.
United who started the new 2020-21 seasons a week behind other teams due to their participation in the latter stages of last season’s Europa League were keen to get off to a winning start, however, it wasn’t to be after a brace from ex-player Wilfried Zaha and Jordan Ayew sealed the Reds’ opening day fate.
