According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale could be set for a summer transfer away from Los Blancos as the Spanish giants eagerly await an official approach from Manchester United for the elite Welshman.
Bale, 31, has found himself frozen out by current manager Zinedine Zidane after spending the last seven years with the club in a spell which has seen him feature a total of 251 times in all competitions and be directly involved in 173 goals, one of which is considered the best ever Champions League final goal against Liverpool in 2018.
The Welshman’s contributions at Real Madrid have seen him win 15 major trophies including a staggering four Champions League trophies, three of which came in consecutive seasons (2014 – 2017).
It has been recently reported by Mundo Deportivo that Real Madrid have placed Bale on the transfer market for a modest £18.5m and are expecting Premier League giants United to make a move for his services as their hopes of landing Jadon Sancho slowly fade, as per Telegraph.
In light of these reports, a selection of United fans have taken to their social media to weigh-in on the prospect of Bale playing at Old Trafford.
Yes. Can’t even begin to understand why anyone would say no.

If he accepts a major cut on wages, then why not? He needs to perform or Giggsy will hunt him down. 😂😂😂😂

If thats was the fee and you could negotiate the right wage it’s a no brainer! Only 31 so still has a few years left. zidane has frozen him out of the team, i dont think its bale not wanting to play like some are suggesting.

If wages are reasonable I’d snap him up, even with his injury record. A fit Gareth Bale improves any side and he’s a big game player

That ship sailed about 4 years ago.
Wrong calibre of player, he’d only join for a payday after Madrid kick him out. No desire to be at Old Trafford prior.
Not for me!

Paying for half his wages on 1 yr loan.. yes please.. Sancho well over priced and Bale is proven quality, and Giggs will have his ear

No he had the chance to come to us before and didn’t he’s past his best plus injury prone

No thanks. Dont think he has the desire to play football
