Donny van de Beek agrees contract with Man United until 2025

Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has reportedly agreed contractual terms with Manchester United on a deal which will see him commit to the club until 2025 after negotiations accelerated earlier today.

van de Beek, 23, is now on the brink of being confirmed as a United player after his move from Ajax edges ever closer having reportedly agreed terms with the club.

The 23-year-old versatile midfielder thoroughly impressed last campaign after being directly involved in 14 goals in just 23 domestic matches.

After wide spread reports throughout Europe including one from The Mirror who claimed that over the last 48 hours Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United had emerged as front-runners to land the highly-rated midfielder, the potential move now looks nailed on.

The Dutchman is understood to be available for £40m which has undoubtedly influenced United’s decision to clearly pursue the box-to-box midfielder.

Leading journalist Fabrizio Romano broke the news that van de Beek had agreed terms with United and will sign a contract until 2025 earlier this evening.

van de Beek will become a key part of Solskjaer’s plans to build a squad capable of challenging for and winning silverware ahead of next season and beyond.

All the signs now point to the fact that van de Beek will now become the Red’s first senior signing of the summer transfer window.
