Man United officials fed up with agents who use club as target for own interests

Manchester United officials are reportedly growing increasingly frustrated with player agents who they believe are planting ‘bogus’ transfer rumours for the sake of their own interests.

The news comes in the wake of the recent Portuguese reports that Wolves forward Raul Jimenez is ‘on his way’ to United, as per RTP Sport.

According to the Daily Mail on Sunday evening, club officials at United have hit back at those claims as they describe the story to be ‘utter nonsense’.

There appears to be a general concensus at United that members of the club’s staff are growing increasingly more frustrated with player’s agents using United as an easy target to promote their clients for their own gain.

A source is reported to have told the Daily Mail: “The Jimenez story making the gossip page on the BBC Sport website certainly did not help.”

As football’s summer transfer window is now well underway, crazy season really is upon us as rumours of players making switches between clubs shows no signs of slowing down.
