Manchester United have put in some Jekyll and Hyde performances since the league’s resumption last month.
The Reds have displayed both moments excitingly reminiscent of the Sir Alex Ferguson era and others which wouldn’t have looked out of place under David Moyes.
It has been difficult for fans to pinpoint exactly where the problems lie.
Selections of fans believe the club need a marquee centre-back in the summer transfer window, whereas others believe the club should break the bank for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
With reports suggesting that Sancho would cost United in excessive of £100m according to the Times, during a season which has had financial implications across the board, United’s ability to pull off what would be a British record transfer remains unknown.
With a transfer budget still unconfirmed as Champions League football still remains unsecured it would be fair to assume that should United pursue Sancho, he is likely to be the only addition the United faithful can expect to see this summer.
However, according to the latest stat to come out of the United current front three of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood suggests that perhaps another attacker may not necessarily be a wise investment.
The United attacking trio have racked up an utterly superb 44 goals in the Premier League thus far, this season.

These impressive numbers see the trio become one of Europe’s most offensively devastating strike force.
Therefore, the question really does need to asked, as putting the ball in the back of the net appears not be a problem for United’s front men who boast an average age of just 21 years old, should the Reds hierarchy be looking to invest in a little further back in the squad?
