Football is still being played behind closed doors but Sir Alex Ferguson was spotted at Old Trafford tonight where Manchester United are taking on Southampton.
As we approach half-time, Manchester United are winning 2-1 after coming from behind thanks to goals by Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
Sir Alex Ferguson will be impressed with how the game seems to have turned, but Southampton were the better side at the beginning of the match and deserved their opener through Stuart Armstrong.
United crawled their way back into the game with two quick-fire goals; the best of the two being Martial’s sublime finish after cutting in from the left flank.
He was caught on camera (via Sky Sports) from the stands at Old Trafford wearing a face mask – something we should all be doing in public amidst the global pandemic that is forcing games to be played to an empty crowd.
