Manchester United have taken a massive step towards securing Champions League football next season after they beat league strugglers Aston Villa 3-0 in a game which saw the Reds dominate at a canter.

United remain in fifth place in the league but have closed the gap on fellow top-four hopefuls Leicester City who sit just one point ahead in fourth.

United named an unchanged side for the third time in a row as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to have discovered his preferred starting eleven.

At the heart of that starting eleven is a fully fit and seemingly happy Paul Pogba. The French World Cup-winner has arguably been at his best since the Premier League restarted last month.

Pogba’s ever-developing partnership with midfield maestro Bruno Fernandes is flourishing more and more with each passing game.

After enduring another impressive performance this evening capped off with a goal of his own, the 27-year old commanding midfielder has given his post match thoughts as he highlights that the ‘end goal is to win the Premier League’.
