Report: Rennes make opening €15m bid for Manchester United target

Transfer news in France is never shy when it comes to mentioning Manchester United.

Every year we are linked to the brightest talents across Europe and 2020 may be a strange year, but it’s no different here.

A report from RMC Sport ran a story on AS Monaco youngster Benoit Badiashile attracting an offer worth €15m from State Rennais.

It is also stated that Rennes face stiff competition for the 19-year-old’s signature, with Manchester United listed as one of the interested clubs, along with Valencia and Bayer Leverkusen.

There is no doubt that Badiashile has talent from watching him breaking into the Monaco first team and he is earning rave reviews. The young defender has also represented France up to under-19 level and is seen as a player with ability to make it at the very top.

United should target Badiashile because we have experience in Harry Maguire and there is a vacancy for the position beside him, even if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer preferring Victor Lindelof over Eric Bailly makes you think otherwise.
