Manchester United are ramping the intensity of their training sessions ahead of the Premier League’s return next month.
The Reds began contact training on Thursday after it was agreed upon by the top flight’s 20 clubs having previously carrying out drills at a social distance.
The club released some interesting training footage from Thursday’s session in the Manchester sunshine at Carrington, with players looking excited to be back to some sense of normality.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a fully-fit squad to choose from ahead of the return with Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba both using the hiatus to make a full recovery.
The video shows United working on exercise bikes and their precision on the ball with the classic ‘El Rondo’ passing drill.
Then the players move into shooting practice, with Rashford and Bruno Fernandes exhibiting their fine finishing ability with shots into the top corner.
We were also given a glimpse of Solskjaer in action, and the great striker proved he’s still got it with an emphatic weak-footed strike!
See the video in full below, posted on the club’s official Youtube channel.
